Three Persons remanded for transporting ammonia

Hyderabad: RGI Airport police nabbed three accused in connection with illegal transport of ammonia on saturday at Shamshabad ORR and remanded on Wednesday, also seized a DCM used in commission of offence. The accused persons were identified as Shaik Khadeer, Rajkumar and Ravinder.

According to police, RGIA Police seized one DCM lorry at outer ring road toll plaza which was carrying 10 tones of Ammonia, which is being transported from Bhongiri to Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh.

The issue was kept secretly by police in order to thwart obstructions in investigation process.police while regular checking got suspicious and intercepted the vehicle and on questioning they found that the DCM was carrying the Ammonia load from bhongir to Anantapur. Accused persons were sent to remand by RGIA police and further investigation is in progress.
