TNGOs re-elect Hussaini as city head
Nampally: Mujeeb Hussaini was re-elected as the president of Hyderabad unit of TNGOs' Association. Prabhakar was once again elected as the secretary of the association. Telangana NGOs' Central Association president Karem Ravindar Reddy handed over the election certificates to them.
Employees felicitated Hussaini amid bursting of crackers and throwing of currency notes. Reddy while complimenting him for getting elected for the fourth time to the post, he urged the TNGO leader to strive for solving the employees' problems.
Extending total support to the striking RTC employees, Reddy accused some political leaders of misleading the employees for gain. He told the media that during the recent meeting with Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao the problems being faced by the employees, including those of the RTC, were discussed.
Recalling the TNGO Central Association's crucial role in the past in finding solution to the issues facing the RTC staff, Reddy said the public was facing hardships on account of the strike. 'It is the responsibility of the government to mitigate the hardships'. While pledging to back the RTC employees, he said he would strive to find a solution to their issues. He appealed to the employees not lose courage and resort to suicides.
