Top UK official visits minority girls school
Bahadurpura: President for Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) AK Khan has said that Deputy Head of Political and Bilateral Affairs at British High Commission Sophie Rose visited TMR School Bahadurpura Girls-2, located at Nawabsahab Kunta on Thursday.
Sophie Rose said she was very much impressed with the performance of school and the students. She commended the officials, teachers and students of TMREIS. She said, "This is an amazing model of school providing high quality education to low-income girls from minority community. May it continue to flourish," she added.
Rose expressed her satisfaction over Muslim girls coming from downtrodden families are being bestowed with best of opportunities, both in learning and living. She lauded the quality of education and hostel facilities extended to the students at TMREIS. She has also appreciated the principal, teachers and all other staff for their role for the rounded development of TMREIS students. She said that it is a rare sight in government schools.
