Traders warned not to use plastic covers

Patancheru: GHMC Patancheru Deputy Commissioner Balayya has warned traders against the use of banned plastic covers during sales of their commodities. He issued a stern threat as they are found repeatedly using plastic covers.

He castigated their negligence, which is harming environment. Balayya warned the traders that they would face strong action if they persisted with the use of such covers.

He was speaking after supervising collection of dry waste in Nayikoti Basti, Gonemma Basti and Chaitanyanagar by the GHMC sanitation staff and self-help groups under the supervision of MMH Dr Lakshman Singh.
