Travel and Tourism Fair, India's largest travel trade show kicks off

Kondapur: Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) kicked off at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) on Friday, and it will be concluded on July 6. It is the largest travel trade show in South India, featuring many domestic and out-bound destinations for Indian tourists.

Indian tourists took around 26 million international and 1.8 billion within India trips in 2018. India is also one of the fastest growing markets in the world for business and MICE-related travel. Of this, 40% of the outbound market is from South India, distributing among several states - Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. TTF South (Hyderabad) brings the best of travel trade from the booming South Indian travel market under one roof.

More than 165 exhibitors from 3 countries and 12 states are participating this year in TTF SOUTH (Hyderabad). Sri Lanka, the Partner Country for TTF SOUTH is participating with a large delegation.TTF South also has participation and representation from Karnataka, Delhi, Bihar, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir and Kerala.

About 46 corporates and 168 travel trade buyers from all over India are being hosted for the show within the show venue hotel Novotel, attached to the HICC. The hosted buyers have pre-scheduled appointments with exhibitors, using the online meeting diary.

This year's TTF in Hyderabad will also host the TTF Forum. It is a knowledge-sharing platform which will bring thought leaders from the travel industry for exclusive interactions and Q&A sessions. With an umbrella theme of the 'Changing Dynamics of Indian Travel', TTF SOUTH (Hyderabad) will witness panel discussions on 'Decoding Corporate Travel Trends, What's in Store for 2019' and 'Managing Large Corporate Travel Budgets'.
