TRS govt upholding TS culture, traditions: MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy
Patancheru: The TRS government is giving pride of place to Telangana culture and traditions, said local MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy here on Tuesday.
Speaking after participating in special pooja in Pochamma temple located in the 100-bed government hospital here, along with the staff and the area committee members, he observed that people were generally happy thanks to their devotion to village deities.
Reddy alleged that the governments in unified State did not bother about traditions, and pointed out that after the State formation all sections of people were living with a sense of pride. The MLA wished that the blessing of the goddess would bring bountiful rains and crops. Consequently, farmers should be secure profits.
Among those present were Market Committee chairman Basveshwar, Hospital Committee president Kankara Srinivas, superintendent Krishnayya, TRS leaders Gudem Madusudhan Reddy and Vijaykumar.
