TRS party membership drive picks up pace
Secunderabad: TRS party membership drive was held here at newly built multipurpose function hall on Tuesday. Prominent among those who attended the meeting include Deputy Speaker Padma Rao Goud, ministers Mahmood Ali, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and other senior party leaders. A large number of TRS party workers also attended the meeting.
Addressing party cadre, the Home Minister said that several developmental and welfare schemes initiated by the state government had won national recognition. Lauding the services of Deputy Speaker, the Home Minister said Padma Rao Goud always strove for the welfare of the poor and was regarded as a people's leader. He lauded Goud for keeping Secunderabad ahead of other constituencies in terms of development and implementation of various government schemes.
Talasani Srinivas Yadav said the TRS government earned recognition for its good governance at the national level. He said that the party membership drive hadf been receiving tremendous response due to the innovative schemes of the government. He congratulated Padma Rao Goud for constructing a multipurpose function hall which would be a role model for other constituencies. He urged the party cadre of the constituency to ensure that they achieve the largest number of memberships.
Padma Rao Goud said KCR's policies were aimed at public welfare. He said that efforts were being made to bring about all-round development in the constituency. He urged the cadre to participate enthusiastically in the party membership drive.
TRS party state secretary Bakki Venkataiah said the membership drive would be completed on August 10. TRS leaders Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav, T Rameshwar Goud, Kiran Kumar Goud, corporators A Saraswati, and others spoke on the occasion. Corporators Samala Hema, Bhargavi, Dhananjaya Goud and Vijay Kumari also present.
