TS Govt neglecting plight of differently abled

Patancheru: General secretary of TMDA M Ravi on Tuesday accused the State government of neglecting the problems of physically challenged, and demanded its immediate attention.
He was speaking during a dharna called by MPDA district committee at tahsildar's office here. Ravi demanded five per cent quota for physically challenged in allotment of 2 BHK houses, supply of 35 kg rice, allotment of Antyodaya cards, sanction of pensions under the 2016 Disabled Rights Protection Act, besides loans.
He warned of launching a Statewide agitation if the demands were not conceded by the government. Among those who participated in the dharna were TMDA activists Shekhar, Saikumar, Advayya.
