TSPCB celebrates World Environment Day

Sanathnagar: World Environment Day was celebrated here at the head office of Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) on Wednesday. TSPCB Chairman Rajiv Sharma flagged off green rally on the occasion. As many as 200 students participated in this rally.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Sharma stressed the need to curb air pollution in the city and urban areas. "Dust and vehicular pollution are posing serious health hazards.

All the citizens should use public transport system in containing vehicular and dust pollution in the city," he said. Member secretary at TSPCB and other employees were present on the occasion.
