TSRTC pays glowing tributes to Ambedkar

Musheerabad: Dr BR Ambedkar's 128th birth anniversary was celebrated in a grand manner at TSRTC Kala Bhavan and Bus Bhavan in a befitting manner on Sunday. TSRTC Managing Director Sunil Sarma attended the function as the chief guest.

Floral tributes were paid to Baba Saheb Dr BR Ambedkar, and all the speakers, along with the representatives of SC/ST Welfare Association, attended and praised the services of Ambedkar. Acknowledging Ambedkar as the architect of the constitution, Sarma talked about how Ambedkar became a great social reformer. "All should be treated equally, and we have to follow the guidelines of Dr BR Ambedkar for a better society," Sarma said.

TSRTC Executive Director Purushotham Naik talked about the life of the great leader. "If you live for yourself, you will be within you only. If you live for people, you will be in the hearts of the people permanently," he recounted the words of Ambedkar and said that Ambedkar lived by it throughout his life. "After his death also, he is in the hearts of crores of people, and with that faith we should follow the ideals of Ambedkar," he said.

TSRTC Executive Directors M Ravinder, A Purushotham, CPM TV Rao, senior officers, Senior Public Relations Manager GR Kiran, supervisors, staff and union leaders participated in the function in huge numbers.
