Two hurt as 33 KV wire snaps & falls
Patancheru: Two persons, one riding a two-wheeler and another a by-stander, were injured on Saturday when a 33 KV wire got snapped and fell on them at Isnapur Crossroads. Srinivas (40) of Munipampula village was travelling on a bike to Rudraram village, where he is working as a cook in MSS canteen, when the accident occurred at around 3.30 pm.
The by-stander, Balaji Kishan Rao Panch (56), was standing next to Srinivas. Both sustained injuries in the mishap and the bike was gutted. Srinivas, who sustained serious injuries, was shifted to the local government hospital by an auto driver Raju who, disregarding a threat to his life, saved him. After initial treatment, doctors sent him to ESI Hospital, R C Puram, for better cure.
