Vendors deplore sewage stench at Monda Market

Secunderabad: The Secunderabad Monda Market is in a pathetic condition, as the lane has been covered with sewage water for the past one week and the authorities concerned do not even seem bothered to clean up the lane. Both customers and vegetable vendors are suffering due to the stench and the unhygienic conditions at the market premises.

"This market is mostly preferred by citizens considering the affordable price of vegetables and fruits. But the stagnated sewage water and the untidy surroundings are causing inconvenience to the buyers," said Srinivas, a local.

Due to the recent rains, the situation has become worse as people were facing difficulty to stand here and buy vegetables and vendors were forced to sell in unhygienic conditions.
