Vietnamese envoy visits Nizam Museum

Purani Haveli: Pham Sanh Chau, the Amabassdor of Vietnam to India, Nepal and Bhutan paid a visit to Nizam Museum, which was hosted by the descendants of the Nizam.

He who takes great interest in heritage and preservation of culture was very pleased to know about Asaf Jah dynasty, during his visit to the Nizam Museum. The visitor's book has recorded his comments as, "Very honoured and privileged to visit the Nizam Museum which showcases the great legacy of Nizam's family.

One of the largest diamonds, Kohinoor, very popular across the world was from India. Thank you very much for the hospitality which is an integral part of Indian history'' Later, addressing the media, Najaf Ali Khan, the grandson of Nizam VII, said that an extraordinary plenipotentiary visited the Nizam Museum. He was accompanied by Nquyen Sy Dung, Second Secretary Vietnam Embassy.

"The Ambassador relished the famous Hyderabadi Biryani, Osmania Biscuits and Irani Chai very much and was keen to know more about the food traditions of the Deccani region. Under his leadership and efforts to boost tourism between India and Vietnam, the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Road Show 2019 is going to be held in Delhi on August 28. He also attended the launching of the book 'The Four Sacred Secrets' during his visit," added Najaf Ali.
