Water works DGM tours Ramnagar division

Musheerabad: In view of several complaints on water contamination made by the residents of Nehru Nagar of Ramnagar division, water works DGM Srinivas Rao has toured the affected areas and reviewed the situation.

He was accompanied by water works manager Suryanarayan Reddy, work inspector Narsimha and other officials. GHMC standing committee member V Srinivas Reddy was also present on the occasion.

V Srinivas Reddy said he had urged the officials concerned to address the issue of frequent water contamination in Nehru Nagar. The water contamination was caused due to leakage from sewerage pipeline, which is very close to a drinking water pipeline, he said.

Srinivas Reddy also urged the officials to consider laying of a new pipeline in the area. TRS leaders Wahid Ali, Prakash, Javed Khan, Prem, Kalyan, Narsimha Rao and others were also present.
