Quthbullapur: President of Sainatha Housing Society Bhoom Reddy sought protection from the government as he was threatened by the officials who sought to take revenge for handing them over to ACB.

Bhoom Reddy stated that around 1,000 people formed a housing society and purchased 103 acres of land in Bahadurpally village limits in 1981. He alleged that the first president of the society Krishna Rao was involved many irregularities with the connivance of district cooperative society officials who approved them without conducting proper audit.

Bhoom Reddy, who became president in the year 2014, asked the officials to conduct audit as he suspected irregularities, but they demanded bribe for conducting the same. Vexed over their attitude, he moved the ACB which laid a trap and caught two officials, assistant registrar and senior inspector, red-handed.

He alleged that the officials and former society president threatened several times to kill him. Hence, he appealed to the government to intervene in the matter and provide proper protection. He demanded that the state government ensure the handing over of three acres of the society land by the former president and Saibaba temple which is built in the society land. Also, he demanded of society land encroached by Satyam Computers and owner of plot number 116.
