Works on TSWB complex to gather momentum

Chandrayangutta: Telangana State Wakf Board Chairman Mohammed Saleem along with Chandrayangutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi visited and inspected the construction works of educational and commercial complex of Dargah-e-Hazrath Syedna Barhane Shah at Phisalbanda main road in Kanchanbagh under Chandrayangutta constituency.

During their visit, they inspected the works of complex and instructed the engineers to speed up the works and complete them on time. Later the TSWB Chairman handed over a cheque for Rs 2.58 crore to Srinivas Rao, Executive Engineer of TSEWIDC (Telangana State Education Women and Infrastructure Development Corporation).

According to TSWB Chairman, the State government is providing funds from 'grant-in aid' to develop the properties for education and welfare of the minorities and to develop the Wakf properties in Telangana state.

It may be mentioned here that the complex of Dargah-e-Hazrath Syedna Barhane Shah will house a high school, college and training institute for girls, besides space for commercial purposes. For this major project an amount of Rs 20 crore was sanctioned.

According to TSEWIDC officials, the total construction area is of more than an acre and works were started in the month of July. Currently, the basement works are going on and the entire works would be completed by 2021. The construction of the complex will consist of a basement and ground plus 5 floors and on front side there will be a commercial space in 2 floors.
