World Cancer Day celebrated at Military Hospital, Secunderabad

Hyderabad: Military Hospital Secunderabad kick-started the celebrations of World Cancer Day by having a cycle rally wherein the unit personnel carried information placards across the cantonment limits on Friday.

An awareness lecture on cancer was given by Lieutenant Colonel Shweta Prasad followed by a Question and Answer session at MCEME auditorium, Secunderabad. Around 150 serving personnel and students of School of Nursing Military Hospital, Secunderabad presented a high-impact mime on the theme of cancer prevention and the importance of imbibing a healthy lifestyle, said senior officer, Defence wing, Hyderabad.
