Yousufguda reeks of negligence

Yousufguda: Often, people speak about the rising land prices in Yousufguda and its surrounding areas but they immediately add that the civic amenities are far from satisfactory. Garbage, water clogging, dump yards, poor water supply and filth greet visitors.

Calling for sewage cleaning has become a habit for us; we need to call the GHMC for cleaning the drain often. We shell out a lot of money each time, said Kishore, a carpenter from Video Galli, Yousufguda. "Water clogs in front of this apartment causing problems and we are not able to take our vehicles out safely," say residents of Sri Divya Enclave, Yousufguda .

"It's really difficult to explain the need we have and we are speechless to talk on the issues we are facing day by day, we have to walk around 2-4 kilometers to dump the garbage. The garbage collectors from GHMC are seen on alternative days," said SK Kiran, an engineering student of VNR Engineering college, Moti Nagar.
