Infrastructure projects ready for launching in Khammam

Khammam: Number of infrastructure projects. which were constructed after spending crores of rupees, are ready for inauguration in Khammam. The officers of various departments are busy in the works, which are in final stage, which are scheduled to be inaugurated on December 2.

According to the district officials, Home Minister Mahmood Ali, IT and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao, Roads and Building Minister V Prasanth Reddy and Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar will participate in the inauguration.

On Sunday, District Collector RV Karnan and other officials inspected all the development works, which would be inaugurated by the Ministers, and gave a few directions to the officials. They were told to make everything ready before Tuesday.

Because of the initiation of Minister P Ajay Kumar, the State government launched various development works in Khammam. Ajay Kumar played a key role in the development of all works. An IT Hub worth Rs 27 crores was established in Khammam town, which will be very useful to the unemployed in the district. Nearly 17 MNC companies will be operating the hub under the TASK.

The interviews for various posts were conducted through job mela on Saturday in Khammam. The officers planned to distribute appointment orders to the selected candidates through IT Minister KT Rama Rao on of December 2 on the day of inauguration of IT Hub.

The government spent nearly Rs 77 crores for the construction of Railway Over Bridge (ROB) at Dhamsalapuram village and is ready for inauguration. Nearly Rs 7 crore was spent for the construction of new Commissionerate building, which is also ready for opening.

Not only that, number development programmes like

new bus stand, central lighting works, new walkway in Sagar canal and new parks at

Tank Bund are ready for the

inauguration on the same day
