Khammam: BJP chief accuses KCR of running family rule

Khammam: BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar has come down on the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao accusing him of running a family rule in Telangana.

On Friday, he along with the party Telangana in-charge Tarun Chugh visited the Khammam town, conducting party leaders' meeting for preparation of coming MLC and corporation elections.

They were welcomed by the hundreds of the party leaders. The party cadre participated in a bike rally from the Warangal cross road to the party office led by the district party president Galla Satyanarayana during the programme.

Later, while speaking to the media persons and addressing intellectuals meeting, Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the people of the State vexed with TRS anti-people ruling, corruption are waiting for BJP to come into power. He asserted that BJP is going ahead with 'sabka saath and sabka vikas' unlike the TRS government going for 'family ka saath and family ka vikas.'

Responding to the remarks of the Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar against BJP and its leaders, Bandi said that the Minister has no right to criticise BJP leaders as he changed four parties from Left to TRS. He also alleged that the Minister finally joined the ruling TRS party to get protection for irregularities done by him in the guise of educational society.

Bandi said that the Minister joined TRS party to regularise 3.5 acres worth of Rs 70 crore Nagarjuna Sagar project land by paying Rs 50 lakh to the government. He stated that the BJP would bring out the Minister's illegal land and other irregularities. He questioned the police officers' behavior with the BJP leaders and said they are working like the party leaders in the district and troubling them.

He said that BJP would continue its fight against Chief Minister's family ruling and ensure KCR would pay a price for his irregularities. Later, while addressing the party workers meeting, the party State in-charge Tarun Chug said that party leaders and cadre should get ready for the upcoming graduate and corporation elections. He said that people are waiting to teach a fitting lesson to the ruling TRS party.

Chug appealed to the party leaders to strive for the victory of the BJP MLC candidate Premender Reddy and the coming corporation party candidates. Former MP G Rammohan Rao, State party general secretary G Premender Reddy, party core committee member Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, State leader Kondapalli Sridhar Reddy, district party president Galla Satyanarayana, Khammam parliament in charge Devaki Vasudev Rao, Assembly in charge Uppala Saradha and others were also present.
