Khammam: BJP wave high across Telangana, asserts Ponguleti

Khammam: After the Dubbaka by poll and GHMC elections, the BJP wave continues to keep high across the State, informed the former MLC and BJP Tamil Nadu co-incharge Dr Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy while addressing the media people, here, in the District party office at Khammam on Saturday.

He came back at the TRS government and said that the TRS failed to fulfil poll promises in the State. The people in the State expressed anger at the TRS government and they want to change the government and thus extended their support to the BJP. He said that the recent elections were the best example of what the people expect in the coming days.

Ponguleti expressed anger at Minister Ajay's comments on the party. He said that the Minister along with the TRS leaders are mesmerising the people with their speeches. The development of the State is visible only in their speeches, not in hand, he alleged.

He stated that after the recent elections, TRS started to be afraid in the State. The leaders did not maintain discipline in their speeches and passed useless comments on Opposition parties. He asserted that the BJP will take power in the State in 2023. The party is moving strongly under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he opined.

The former MLC also strongly stated that the BJP will win the civic polls and grab the Mayor post. The TRS leaders made wrong statements on the developments of the Khammam town, he pointed.

He said that the people across the country expressed happiness under the regime of Modi. Later at the meeting, he interacted with the party leaders and the newly party joining programme in the town.

After the meeting, former MP G Rama Mohan Rao, former MLA G Ramchandra Reddy, party organising Secretary Mantri Srinvas Rao, State Kisan Morcha president Kondapally Sridhar Reddy, District party chief Galla Satyanarayana conducted a meeting with the party leaders.

During the programme, State party organising Secretary Mantri Srinivas Rao informed that the 9th party national secretary Thurn Chung and President Bandi Sanjay will visit Khammam for conducting party leaders meeting.
