Khammam: Erstwhile Khammam district is witnessing a political migration to Hyderabad in view of the GHMC elections. Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, Khammam MP Nama Nageswra Rao, Government whip Rega Kantha Rao, ZP Chairman L Kamal Raj, SUDA Chairman Bachu Vijay Kumar and MLAs in the district were appointed incharges for various divisions of GHMC elections. Following this, TRS leaders and party loyalists are moving to the city to mobilize settlers to vote for the pink party.

The followers of the leaders shifted their base to Hyderabad and conducted door-to- door campaigning. They used their experience to attract voters in their style.

Hundreds of TRS party leaders and corporators are contacting their relatives and their community people in their respective areas allotted to them. But most of Khammam people's representatives and leaders are entrusted with the Kukatpally area where Khammam people are living. Even small-time leaders also reached Kukatpally and sweated it out for the victory of the TRS party. One ruling party leader said, ''we have devised a caste-wise campaign. We are meeting our community people at private places."

Speaking to The Hans India, SUDA Chairman Bachu Vijay Kumar said, "on the directions of high command and Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar we have reached Hyderabad along with family and stayed in relative's house and started campaigning."

With the political leader's migration to Hyderabad, Khammam district became empty as all leaders and people representatives vanished suddenly.

One party activist in Khammam said due to migration of leaders to Hyderabad Khammam wore a desert look and officials felt relief from busy schedules.
