Women protection is first priority: DCP Puja

Khammam: Protection of women is the first priority for the police, stated Additional DCP Injarapu Puja after inaugurating play equipment set up for children on the premises of Women Police Station in Khammam on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, she said women will come to the police station along with their children to get their problems solved. Friendly atmosphere, toys and games are provided for the children at police station surroundings so that they would not be affected with the parental issues, she said. Similarly, goals set for women safety are giving good results and cases filed by women are being probed at field level, she added.

Special Branch ACP Prasanna Kumar planted saplings on the police station premises. CI Sarvaiah and others were present on the occasion.
