Take measures for registration & regularisation of plots: Collector Tejas Nandalal Pawar

Wanaparthy: District Collector Tejas Nandalal Pawar directed officials to put up notice boards before the civic bodies to create awareness among people on G O. No 84 to get their notarised plots registered and regularised.

Reviewing the implementation of various government schemes with officials in virtual mode here on Tuesday, he said if the extent of land is less than 125 yards a notary could be registered without any stamp charges. Similarly, if the extent of land is more than 125 yards, the same could be registered charing the stamp duty at current prevailing rates with an additional penalty of Rs 5.

On implementation of the Haritha Haram programme, the district Collector asked the officials to ensure the plantation of 10 per cent of forest areas in Amarchitna and Atmakur. As part of Vajrotsavam, 2.5 lakh saplings have to be planted in the district and directed to identify areas to plant 1000 plants in every village and the plants are ready at the nurseries.

The district Collector asked the officials to take steps of supplying rice to the FCI from the rice mills. He ordered to focus on checking rice smuggling and recycling by carrying out enforcement raids and slapping cases against the culprits.

The Collector also asked officials to focus on the implementation of schemes like Grilahakshmi, BC and minority Rs.1 lakh scheme, house site patta distribution, Dalit Bandhu, Karunya appointments, construction of Gram Panchayat, health sub-centres etc.
