Nizamabad: Collector Narayana Reddy angry over delay of 2BHK construction

District Collector C Narayana Reddy inspecting construction works of double bedroom houses in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: District Collector C Narayana Reddy directed the officials concerned to construct double bedroom houses expeditiously in compliance with quality, after inspecting construction works of 2 BHK houses in Nizamabad city on Tuesday. He also inspected construction of double bedroom houses in Nagaram, minority school, new collectorate building and adjoining double bedroom houses.

Later speaking with contractor and executive officers, the Collector told them to take steps to complete works by the end of May. They were also directed to bring furniture in the new collectorate within 15 days and complete interior decoration required.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the construction works of minority school, Narayana Reddy outraged at the contractors and officials for delaying the works and for negligence.

He inspected government land next to the RDO office in Nagaram for other development works and directed the RDO to conduct survey and provide the details of any government land in the district and in Nizamabad city. Narayana Reddy directed the Revenue authorities to take necessary measures to prevent illegal encroachment of government lands. The Collector was accompanied by Municipal Commissioner Jitesh V Patil, R&B SE Rajeshwar Reddy, RDO Ravikumar and others.
