Bhumana to be sworn in as TTD chief on Aug 10
Tirupati: The swearing-in ceremony of TTD Chairman designate Bhumana Karunakar Reddy will be held on August 10.
According to sources, Reddy who was appointed as the TTD Chairman as the two-year term of the present Trust Board headed by Y V Subba Reddy will end on August 8, will swear in at the ceremony to be held at Bangaru Vakili (golden threshold) at Tirumala temple at 11.44 am on Thursday.
Karunakar Reddy who is the sitting Tirupati MLA and senior YSRCP leader has been appointed for the second time to the prestigious post of the TTD Chairman.
Though many senior leaders in the ruling YSRCP aspired for the post, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy ultimately decided in favour of Bhumana who is close to the YSR family bringing an end to the speculations on the Chairman post of the TTD, the biggest Hindu religious institution.
