Devotees rush to Tirumala continues, amasses Rs. 3.13 crore on Tuesday
The rush of devotees continues in Tirumala with as many as 71,924 devotees visited Tirumala on Tuesday and 15,771 tonsured their heads. The TTD officials said that income of the hundi from the gifts offered by the devotees is reported to be of Rs. 3.13 crore.
Meanwhile, the number of token issuing centers for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan at Tirumala Temple has been reduced. Tokens are being issued daily from 31st of last month in nine centers established in Tirupati. Only devotees with tokens are allowed to visit Vaikuntha.
However, TTD officials revealed that these tokens are being issued only in four centers from Wednesday. Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan Tokens will be issued at Alipiri Bhoodevi Complex, Srinivasam opposite RTC Bus Stand, Vishnunivasam opposite Railway Station and 2nd Sattra (Govindarajaswamy Sattras) behind Railway Station.Devotees are requested to observe this matter.
