Tirupati: Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy joins op to rescue 3 stuck in stream

Tirupati: AP Government Whip and Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy joined the fire department personnel in rescuing three persons who were stuck in the middle of the Ralla Madugu Kalava stream in the district on Thursday.
On learning that people were stranded in the stream, Bhaskar Reddy rushed to the spot in Yerpedu mandal and swung into rescue operation along with the fire personnel.
He wore a life jacket and reached the spot in the middle of the overflowing Ralla Madugu where the three persons were stuck accidentally. After rescuing the stranded persons, the MLA consoled them and provided food and drinking water.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy appreciated the MLA for rushing to the rescue of people in distress.
Officials and public also applauded the courage the MLA had shown during the rescue operation. One person was missing in the incident and a search was on. Srikalahasti MLA Biyapu Madhu Sudhan Reddy announced Rs 1 lakh as reward to fire personnel.
