Andhra team participates in carrom tourney

Vijayawada: The Andhra State Carrom Association president Dr Neeraj Kumar Sampathy said that the Andhra team is participating in the 45th Sub-Junior National and Interstate Carrom Championship 2018-19 and also in the 25th All India Federation Cup Carrom Tournament 2018-19 which commenced at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh on Monday.

He said that the championship will be held for four days till March 28, and said that for the 45th Sub-Junior and Interstate Carrom Championship, S Aarifa and S Aasifa will participate in Cadet Girls Under-12 category, Vivek Patnaik and K Yuva Raju will participate in Cadet Boys Under-12 category.In sub-juniors, girls P Deepthi, B Vijaya lakshmi, P Jyothika, V Sindhusha, BV Bavya and A Deepthi will take part.

In sub-junior boy's category, B Mahadev Reddy, K Srinivas, N Sai Sagar, V Leela Krishna, A Vijay Vardhan and V Gopal Naik will participate.He said that in 25th All India Federation Cup in women category, MSK Harika, A Bhavani, SK Husna Sameera and L Hari Priya will participate and in men's category Ch Janardhan Reddy, Sk IIahi, Ch Siva Sankar and YSD Ramesh will participate.
