Awareness rallies organised

Vijayawada: The Class VIII and IX students of Sri Puchalapalli Sundarayya Municipal Corporation High School, IBS Nagar here took out a rally to create awareness on tuberculosis to mark World TB Day on Sunday.

The students raised slogans on the ill-effects of chewing tobacco, smoking and consuming other tobacco related products. They also held a door-to-door campaign to save water on the eve of World Water Day as water is very precious to every human being.

They also took out a rally on voter awareness campaign. They said that youth above 18 years should register their votes and cast their vote to elect a good and efficient leader in the upcoming election to lead the nation in the right path. The rally was coordinated by the school staff member Mynam Hussain.
