Boppana to contest from Vijayawada East

Vijayawada: The YSRCP has finalised the candidature of Boppana Bhava Kumar for Vijayawada East Assembly constituency. He will face the sitting MLA Gadde Rammohan in the elections. Boppana celebrated the announcement of his candidature by distributing sweets to party cadre on Thursday night.

Speaking to media, Boppana said that he would kickstart the campaign with Lok Sabha YSRCP candidate PV Prasad on March 16 by breaking coconut at Anjaneya temple in Vijayawada East constituency.

Former MLA and aspiring candidate Yalamanchiliri of YSRCP could not get ticket despite his tireless efforts for the past few months. The YSRCP has finalised the candidatures of Vijayawada East, West and Central segments so far.
