KLEEE 2019 to be held online, offline
Vijayawada: The entrance examination for admission into KL University, Vijayawada and Hyderabad campus for the academic year 2019 would be held offline and online. The written examination will be held on April 14 and the online examination will be held from April 16 to 18, said KLU vice-president Koneru Raja Harin. A poster was released on the occasion.
Addressing the media on Thursday, Raja Harin said they are conducting the entrance test based on EAMCET syllabus to support merit students through scholarships across the country. He also stated that they are distributing about Rs 25 lakh for the merit students who get top 20 ranks in the entrance exam. He said that they are distributing the merit scholarships to support sportspersons also.
KLU vice-chancellor Dr KSS Reddy said CSE, ECE, ECM, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and biotechnology courses are being offered by the university. To achieve the goal, the KLU signed MoUs with several international universities across the world and updating the courses based on the current requirements.
University pro-vice-chancellor Dr A Ram Kumar said Bachelor of Business Management in Logistics and Management course would be introduced for the academic year 2019-20, which has a great demand globally and a few universities only offering this course.
University entrance department director Dr J Srinivasa Rao said KL Deemed University entrance test will be conducted in 60 centres across the country. The online examination will be conducted for the foreign students to join in the courses offered by their university. He also said that they are arranging free buses to visit university on March 31 from Guntur and Vijayawada. He said that the applications can be downloaded from www.kluniversity.in.
