Vijayawada: FAPCCI to host webinar on export documentation

Vijayawada: The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) was organising a three-day online training programme on 'Export Documentation–Practical Aspects' through Zoom platform from November 26, said Sk Shahbuddin, programme coordinator.

In a statement here on Monday, he said that consultant and trainer Sampath Kumar will lead the sessions. The importance of understanding and correctly completing export documentation was crucial for any export businesses.

This enables the goods to arrive at their country of destination smoothly and can be cleared through customs quickly, building a sustainable working relationship with overseas customers.

Errors in documentation can delay the consignment encountering storage costs, which can escalate. Therefore, the importance of these documents should not be underestimated, he added.

He said that the online training from 11.00 am to 02.00 pm from November 26 for three days will help to refresh the knowledge of preparation of export documentation.

The unique training course will take a practical approach to completing export documents (proforma invoice, shipping bill, bill of lading, bill of sight letter of credit, certificates of origin and others helping the entrepreneurs to present clean and accurate export paperwork for every shipment.
