Vijayawada: House site distribution launched in Krishna
Vijayawada: Transport Minister Perni Venkata Ramaiah (Nani) inaugurated the house site pattas distribution programme in Krishna district at Gajulapeta habitation in Ibrahimpatnam mandal on Vijayawada-Hyderabad national highway on Friday.
Minister Perni Nani gave house site pattas as part of the state-wide YSR Jagananna house site pattas distribution programme. Minister Velampalli Srinivas, MLAs, district Collector Md Imtiaz, officials, YSRCP leaders and others participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Perni Nani said 12,464 house site pattas will be distributed in Mylavaram Assembly constituency limits. The Minister handed over the house site pattas to the beneficiaries belonging to the villages of Ibrahimpatnam, G Konduru, Koppugudem. He also distributed house sanction papers to the selected beneficiaries.
Minister Nani alleged that the Telugu Desam Party had created many hurdles for the distribution of house site pattas in the capital Amaravati. He said the State government had proposed to distribute house site pattas to 54,000 in capital Amaravati region but the Telugu Desam Party leaders moved the court to create hurdles for distribution of house site pattas.
He said Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday launched the house sites distribution programme and for construction of houses to the BPL families. He said Rs 6800 crore will be spent for the development of infrastructure facilities in the YSR Jagananna Colonies to be developed by the State government.
Referring to Krishna district, Nani said house site pattas will be given to 3,02,420 families. He added that the houses will be constructed for 1.67 lakh families. He said the Chief Minister is fulfilling the dreams of lakhs of families by allotting house site pattas and construction of houses under housing for all scheme.
Endowments Minister Velampalli Srinivas, Brahman Corporation Chairman Malladi Vishnu, Mylavaram MLA Vasantha Krishna Prasad, Krishna district Collector Md Imtiaz and others spoke on the occasion. Officials of Revenue, Housing, Rural Development and other departments attended the event.
