16-member NDC team visits Vizag

Visakhapatnam: A 16-member National Defense College (NDC) team is visiting Visakhapatnam to study the development and welfare schemes implemented by the Andhra Pradesh government.

On Tuesday, the team arrived in Visakhapatnam and they will be studying the implementation of various development and welfare programmes in the district for the next two days.

Led by Air Vice Marshal Manish Kumar Gupta, the team met District Collector A Mallikarjuna at his chamber.

Interacting with them, the Collector briefed the details of various development programmes being undertaken in the district. He explained measures taken by the government for health, education, agriculture sectors along with skill development for the youth and public welfare to the members.

Later, they interacted with the District Agricultural Officer, who gave a digital presentation on various services provided by the government to the farmers.

The NDC team visited Pinagadi Rythu Bharosa Kendra in Pendurthi mandal and held discussions with the farming community.

The team includes officers from army, navy, air force officers. Joint Collector K Mayur Ashok and other officials participated in the programme.
