Visakhapatnam: Industrial meet provides platform to air grievances

Visakhapatnam: Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy has appealed to the entrepreneurs to put forth their grievances and the State government would take measures resolve them.

At the industrial meet held at VMRDA Children's Arena here on Saturday, the MP said the platform aims to provide an opportunity to the industrialists and entrepreneurs to share their issues and get them resolved.

The meeting aimed at reviving the economic activity and extending support to the industries.

Effective institutional mechanisms, infrastructure development and grievance redressal were some of the topics covered during the programme attended by Agriculture Minister K Kannababu, Tourism Minister M Srinivasa Rao, Municipal Commissioner G Srijana, and District Collector V Vinay Chand, among others.

Speaking on the occasion, the Tourism Minister said the State government has introduced several incentives and policies for the benefit of the industries. "Even in times of the coronavirus pandemic, the government is keen on extending all possible support to the industrialists and entrepreneurs through various incentive drives," Srinivasa Rao said, calling for a concerted effort to address post-pandemic challenges.

Industrialists and entrepreneurs who attended the event shared some of their grievances and appealed to the authorities concerned to initiate industry-friendly measures.
