Visakhapatnam: To enable hassle-free darshan to the devotees, Sri Kanaka Maha Lakshmi (SKML) Devasthanam has introduced advance slot booking system from this year.
A decision to this effect was taken during the ongoing 'Margasira Masotsavalu'. Those who could not opt slot booking facility, a dedicated counter was set up at the temple for availing direct darshan, which will remain open on Thursdays.
As many people thronging temple directly due to lack of knowledge on advance slot booking system for darshan, Devasthanam Executive Officer S Jyothi Madhavi said the special ticket counter set up in the temple would overcome this issue.
The tickets would be sold for Rs100 at the newly set up counter. Prasadam is made available in packets to 500 devotees a day.
Devotees wishing to take part in the 'Trikala Panchamritabhishekam' would have to get a ticket for Rs 7,500 on Thursdays, Rs 2,500 on remaining days, the EO said. Those who want to avail darshan during the ongoing Margasira Masotsavalu have to book a slot in advance at Ambika Bagh Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple and Jagannath Swamy temple at One Town for hassle-free darshan.
