Visakhapatnam: Waltair Division gets first automobile rake
Visakhapatnam: The first automobile rake from Kanakpura (Jaipur), Rajasthan had reached Visakhapatnam new goods complex, Marripalem. Recently, the goods shed was renovated and opened for handling all types of goods.
The special freight train has 30 BFR wagons and brought 120 Tata ace-gold vehicles to be used by Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Corporation.
The new business development unit of Waltair division is playing a key role in bringing in the new traffic.Marking another accomplishment, the division registered the highest ever loading in a single day in the current financial year. The division has loaded 75 rakes of freight traffic on Tuesday.
Divisional Railway Manager, Waltair Chetan Kumar Shrivastava appreciated the relentless efforts taken by the team for the accomplishment.
