Warangal: BSP announces Vidyarthi Bharosa

Warangal: The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao failed to lift the education standards in the State universities, Bahujan Samaj Party Telangana chief R S Praveen Kumar said.

Speaking at a meeting at Public Gardens in Hanumakonda on Tuesday, he accused the State government of ignoring the university education; thereby encouraging the private varsities. The government is giving a tough time to the poor students by not releasing the pending fee reimbursement which amounts to Rs 2,500 crore, he said. Mana Ooru – Mana Badi programme is nothing but to fill the coffers of the contractors, he added.

The BSP, if voted to power, will establish a Sainik School in all 33 districts, and spend Rs 75,000 on each student, Praveen said, announcing Bahujan Vidyarthi Bharosa. Stating that they have plans to revolutionise the education sector, Praveen said that coding and artificial intelligence will be introduced as a fourth language to the students of Class VIII to Intermediate.

He said that BSP will establish Jambava Student Parks and coaching centres with AC facilities in 12,000 villages. Free WiFi and computer facilities will also be ensured to the students, he added.

“We will establish Gaddar Freedom University to encourage arts forma and artistes.

Three cultural academies will also be established,” Praveen said. The BSP will not spare if anyone resorts to question paper leaks, he said.

He said that their government will promote sports by offering substantial cash awards. Earlier, Praveen offered tributes to Telangana Martyrs at Adalath Centre. Darla Sivaraj, Botla Karthik, Madarapu Ravi, Aruna Queen and Kannam Sunil were among others present.
