BJYM activists stage protest near Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal on Saturday

Warangal: Demanding explanation from the State government over the bungling of medicine seats, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists laid siege to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), here, on Saturday.

BJYM State president Bhanu Prakash demanded the government to dismiss the vice-chancellor Dr B Karunakar Reddy whose alleged incompetence allowed the 'ineligible' students to sneak into medical colleges in Telangana, depriving the locals.

The SC, ST, BC and the minority students suffered the most due to the bungling in the admission process. It needs to be probed, he demanded. Bhanu Prakash criticised the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his inaction even though the students belonging to SC, ST, BC and the minority were suffering due to the university.

It's high time that the government takes necessary measures so that such mistakes in the admission process would not happen again, he said.

BJP Warangal Urban district president Rao Padma, BJYM Warangal Urban District President Siddam Naresh Patel, leaders N Srinivas, N Sunil, D Rakesh Reddy, K Pavan, T Shyam, G Srikanth, Akash Singh, K Sravan and A Srinivas were among others present.
