Warangal: Call to extend Gruha Lakshmi scheme last date
Warangal: CPI national executive member Chada Venkat Reddy urged the State Government to extend the last date of submission of application for Gruha Lakshmi scheme. It may be mentioned here that the government will provide a financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh each to the beneficiaries who have their own piece of land for the construction of their houses.
Reddy who along with party State secretariat member Takkalapally Srinivas Rao and others visited RN Nagar and ARR Nagar in Kazipet on Tuesday elicited information about the basic amenities for those residents who applied for pattas under GO 58 and 59.
Reddy said that the government was in a hurry to close the window of Gruha Lakshmi scheme as early as possible. “The applicants need more than one week to acquire caste and income certificates from the authorities. Hence, the government should extend the last date of submission of applications by a fortnight.
Reddy demanded the government to issue land pattas to all the applicants who applied under the GO 58 and 59, besides providing all the amenities to their colonies.
Reddy urged the government to select the beneficiaries of BC Bandhu and Minority Bandhu through Grama Sabhas instead of the intervention of the MLAs. CPI Hanumakonda district secretary Karre Bikshapathi, joint secretary Maddela Yellesh, Munigala Bikshapathi, Maloth Shankar, Bottu Bikshapathi, Rasamalla Deena, B Rajamani, S Swaroopa, Kumar, Chander and Jyothy were among others present.
