Warangal: Errabelli Dayakar Rao slams BJP's political agenda
Warangal: Although we welcome Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy's visit to Warangal, it would have been even better had he informed us beforehand about his one-day trip, the Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao said.
Addressing a press conference, here, on Saturday, he criticised the Union Minister for trying to take mileage during his visit instead of consoling the Covid-19 victims and flood-affected denizens.
"It's strange that the Union Minister who never made a visit to Warangal had suddenly come to review the ongoing works taken up under Central government's flagship programmes," Errabelli pointed out.
The TRS government released Rs 12 crore relief for the flood-affected in Warangal, he said. Referring to the pathetic state of road between Karimnagar, Warangal and Khammam, Errabelli questioned the failure of the Centre.
He also questioned the Union Minister to talk about tribal university and Bayyaram steel plant.
"BJP which resorted to divisive tactics managed to taste the success in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections. Such tactics will not materialise in Greater Warangal as the people here are well aware of saffron party's game plan," he opined.
Chief Whip D Vinay Bhaskar, Mayor Gunda Prakash Rao, MPs Pasunuri Dayakar, Banda Prakash, legislators Kadiyam Srihari, Nannapuneni Narender and Challa Dharma Reddy were among others present.
