7-year-old girl raped by 10th class student in West Godavari district

West Godavari: A 7-year-old girl was allegedly raped by 10th class student in West Godavari district. The girl belongs to a village in Koyyalagudem mandal here in the district is studying second grade in a private school.

On Saturday night, she was alone going for the dance class at the local church. While she was on the way, a 10th class studying boy stopped and took her to an isolated place. There he raped her, later dropped her back at the village and left from the spot.

As the girl was crying, the villagers who noticed her asked what has happened, and they were shocked by what she said. Over this, the girl's parents lodged a complaint with the police. On receiving the information, the police registered a case, and the girl was taken to Jangareddigudem government hospital for medical examination.
