Bank manager held for cheating women in Nandyal

Nandyal: The police have arrested a man who is engaged with one woman and tried to get married to another woman. The accused Mohan Krishna works as a manager at SBI branch Tirupati.

He has earlier got engagement with a girl belongs to Makthal of Mahabubnagar district on August 24th and under dowry he took 12 lakh and six tolas of gold ornaments and wedding was supposed to take place in October.

However, Mohan Krishna's brother Veera Prasad cancelled the wedding as there was no muhurat matching according to the horoscope and did not even return the dowry.

In the meanwhile, he got ready to marry another woman at Maha Nandeeshwara temple in Nandyal on Sunday. On receiving the information, the police have arrested Mohan Krishna and his brother Veera Prasad during the wedding event.

He has again collected Rs 12 lakh and six tolas of gold from the bride's family as the dowry. The girl's family has registered a case against Mohan Krishna and his family members.
