Email bomb threats to four 5-star hotels in Mumbai

Mumbai: The email bomb threats to four 5-star hotels have created a flutter in Mumbai city. According to the police, Hotel Leela, Hotel Sea Princess, The Park, Ramada Inn have received bomb threats through emails from Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The email sender has asked the hotels to deposit 100 bitcoins in order to prevent the blasts. On receiving the information, the police got into action, thoroughly inspected the hotels and found no explosives.

As part of precautionary measures, they have made strong security arrangement by deploying a bomb-defusing squad and dog squad at the hotels. The Mumbai police took the email bomb threats seriously, initiated the investigation and trying to trace the email sender through the IP address.
