Financier brutally killed in East Godavari district

Tuni: A two family members have started a finance business, which brought good fortune for them has led to a murder of one. According to the police, M Raja Reddy (59) of Pasalapudi village in Rayavaram mandal and K Mareddy started the finance business in 2006. They have taken a house for rent at Sitapamapuram in Tuni town and were doing business in the surrounding areas.

In the beginning days, Mareddy has invested Rs 1 lakh in the business, which went on smoothly till 2014. Raja Reddy stays with his family in Visakhapatnam and Mareddy resides at Pasalapudi. The disputes have arisen over the accounts, which was handled by Raja Reddy. There was a difference of Rs 11 lakh in the joint venture, and Mareddy use to question this often.

Where Raja Reddy said to settle the issue, the conflict continued between them over five months. In this context, Raja Reddy along with his nephew Harinath Reddy came to Sitapamapuram on Monday. On the next day, he went for the collection and returned to the room in the evening. Later in the evening, Harinath went out to get tiffin for them.

In the night, while Raja Reddy and Harinath were sleeping in one room, Mareddy entered into their room and attacked Raja Reddy with the iron rod by hitting on his head Harinath tried to stop Mareddy, but he continued to attack them.

In the attack, Raja Reddy sustained server head injury. On receiving the information, 108 ambulance reached the spot and shifted the victim to Tuni government hospital, where doctors confirmed brought dead. Over the incident, Tuni Urban police registered a case and investigating further.
