Hyderabad: Two persons arrested in businessman's murder case
Hyderabad: The Saroor Nagar police on Thursday arrested two persons for committing a murder last month. The accused were identified as, Sandeep Kumar and Sai Srinivas whereas other two accused Santosh and Quddus are absconding. According to police, the victim Vinay Kumar had an argument with one Sai Kiran over the profits made in the smartphone business. Vinay Kumar threatened Sai Kiran with dire consequences if the profit is not shared equally. Sai Kiran out of fear approached Sandeep and briefed him about the issue. Sandeep there on dialed Vinay and threatened him and they both had a heated argument over the phone.
E Srinivas Reddy, Inspector of Police, Saroor Nagar noted, "While arguing over the phone, the accused Sandeep provoked the victim Vinay to come to P&T colony. The victim was provoked and he agreed to come at the designated spot on the fixed time. However little did he know about the tricks of Sandeep and his gang."
"When the victim arrived at the scene of offence he was surrounded by Sandeep, Sai Srinivas and Santosh who started arguing with him and before anyone could realise anything the accused persons stabbed Vinay and fled the scene. Quddus helped the accused in providing them with car, liquor and other accessories. The two persons were arrested under section 302 of IPC and were remanded to judicial custody and the hunt is on for two other accused," stated the officer.
