Man commits suicide after attacking wife with hammer in Delhi

New Delhi: In a tragic incident, a man who lost his cool attacked his wife by hitting her with a hammer and later committed suicide. This incident has happened in Delhi on Sunday.

According to the sources, a woman belongs to Jahangiripuri got married to a person and has three children. After her husband died, she again got the second marriage with a rickshaw driver a year ago.

After some time of their wedding, the clashes broke out between them as her husband didn't accept her three children and repeatedly quarreled to leave them at her mother's place.

In this context, the husband had a heated argument with his wife on Saturday night, where he lost his cool and attacked her with a hammer in front of the children.

As the woman screamed loudly, her husband escaped from the spot. In the attack, she sustained severe injuries. Immediately she was rushed to a local government hospital for treatment. On receiving the complaint from the victim's family members, the police have registered a case and initiated the investigation.

While searching for the accused, the police found him committed suicide by hanging himself to a tree in a local park on Sunday morning and shifted the body to the hospital for the post-mortem.
