Man gets lift term for advocate's murder
Hyderabad: A district court on Wednesday awarded life imprisonment to one person and another one-year jail who were found guilty of murdering an advocate.According to the police, one A Uday Kumar (47) is an Advocate and his father A Nakuludu is an ex-serviceman who acquired 5 acres of land of Chennapuram, Shamirpet mandal from government after his retirement.
Nakuludu gave his land to one Anjaneyulu who is the uncle of one Lokesh Babu (25) on lease.Nakuludu offered the said land to Anjaneyulu for Rs 25 lakh. But Anjaneyulu expressed his inability. Later, he informed Lokesh Babu about the offer. On that, Lokesh contacted Nakuludu and agreed to purchase the land for Rs 25 lakh.
Accordingly, Nakuludu executed a notarized agreement of sale but did not informed Uday Kumar. But, somehow Uday came to know about the sale and had been confronting Lokesh which made him irritated and decided to eliminate Uday.Consequently on June 25, 2016 Uday went to the disputed land and picked up a quarrel with Lokesh.
On heated argument, aggravated Lokesh attacked Uday with a sickle on the neck indiscriminately due to which he died.After that, Lokesh went to the adjacent land of S Suman Reddy (25) and made him convinced to shift the body into car. Thereafter, Lokesh brought petrol, removed number plates of car, poured petrol and set fire.
He informed about the incident to his uncle Anjaneyulu, S Mahender Reddy and K Madhusudhan and created forged documents of Nakuludu with conspiracy and criminal intention to grab the 5 acres of land.Basing on the complaint of deceased's wife Jagadeeshwari, a case was registered and during investigation all the accused sent for judicial custody.
After completion of investigation a charge sheet was filed in the court and XIII Administration of Justice Court at LB Nagar convicted the Lokesh Babu to undergo life imprisonment and Suman Reddy for a year and imposed fine of Rs 2,000 on both the accused.
