Man held for raping woman for three months in Mumbai

The police have arrested a person for raping a 22-year-old mentally challenged woman for three months at Vakola area in Mumbai on Sunday. The accused identified as Dinesh Sharma (22) who works as a carpenter. The incident came into light when the woman becomes pregnant.

She disclosed that Sharma raped her repeatedly over the last three months. Immediately, the victims family members approached the police and lodged the complaint.

Upon receiving the information, the police registered a case and took Sharma into their custody. During the interrogation, the accused admitted the crime that he raped the woman for three months, who stays alone in a room.
